Types of Bath Screens
The screens are one of the best options to get a bathroom safe, healthy and smart. They can be for bath or shower, or silkscreened transparent, glass or acrylic. Many designs, types and classifications, differentiated mainly by the material it is made, the thickness of the panels, finishing and grid. The different screens to suit every bathroom and items they want covered. They can also be fixed, hinged, folding or sliding.
The main types of screens are:
Screens with fixed blade: are attached permanently to the wall and cover only a part of the cockpit, usually the part where the taps to prevent large spills happen abroad.
Hinged leaf screens: the only difference from previous ones is that the blade moves about the axis from the wall, through which you can have better access to the cockpit. May be one or two leaves.
Paneled folding screens: the leaves are folded one over the other, like an accordion. If you have little space is the best option. The disadvantage they have is that is that when riding on a rail, it must be kept perfectly clean to avoid mold build up, grease or dust.
Partitions with sliding panels, sheets covering the length of the tub or shower and have to overlap overlap. Ensure a good seal to the bathing area, but must also have a thorough cleaning so they can circulate well and not get caught.
To choose a screen also look at the material. The glass is the most expensive and you should make sure they are made with panels secured that, if broken, it would follow the glasses but would burst into the structure.
